| It is no secret that Smita Vora thrives when new ideas that
drive her business are introduced. Just consider the persistent endeavours
that she took to move her company forward. 1973- Began her Prosperous career as a Floral Designer 1982- Purchased Aprile Florists, a trendy Flower Shop in the heart of the City 1996- Purchased Irene's Flowers, yet another of Toronto's most talked about Flower Shops in the busy downtown area. 1997- Purchased Town Florists, a well-known flower shop in one of the City's busiest shopping centres. 1997- Registered Vora Flora, a floral Wholesale Distribution Company 2000- Opened Wholesale Flower Depot praised as one of North America's Most Beautiful Floral Studios. 2001- Expanded WFD to Include Mandap Depot consisting of a Single Mandap that which was the talk of the Entire East Indian Community. Also made available the rental of chair covers, table covers and various wedding decor including backdrops and unique centerpieces. 2002- Read on about History in the Making… Over the years progress like this has made Wholesale Flower Depot and Mandap Depot a Leader in the Floral, Mandap and Decor Industry of Toronto and Border States. This has created an enormous brand loyalty. Customers recognize that WFD strives and expands to meet their needs for beauty, creativity, brilliance and exquisite decor. Last Spring, Sanjay Dhabade, Senior Art Director for the Bollywood Hit Gadar and up coming big hit Hero and President of Zero Hour of Mumbai, India was here in Toronto for another project. While here, he recognized WFD's mission and professionalism. He paved the way for stepped-up growth and new ideas when he presented a detailed strategic plan to Smita Vora (WFD and Mandap Depot). His goal was to achieve international grandeur and recognition and to expand his customer base across the wide seas. A new joint venture was born. Two eyes sharing one vision. A vision of grand beauty, dreams of the masses made in to a reality. Various Custom themes that crossed all boundaries and a commitment to excellence and good practice.
